The salon doesn’t smell like a “normal hair salon” and we aim to keep it as healthy and relaxing as possible for all of us.

Natural and organic shampoo and conditioners
Plastic free styling products – gels sprays etc.
Gentle yet effective colouring products
Chlorine filters on showers used for hair washing
Organic paint on the walls
Eco friendly cleaning materials
Only natural perfumes
Air cleaners
Electrical equipment and telephones chosen for impact on health/environment
Ammonia:
Effects breathing, irritating to eyes, burns skin, damages hair, triggers asthma.
Parabens:
Synthetic preservatives that have been linked to cancer.
Recorcinol:
Can cause skin irritation.
Liquid plastics:
Irritating to skin, can build up on hair and cause brittleness and hair breakage.
Voc`s:
Contribute to environmental pollution and can contribute to allergic reactions.
Anything tested on animals : because it’s not right or necessary
SLS (sodium laurel sulphate):
Can cause dermatitis and other skin problems.
